The Windows* version of Chatterbox may be installed on users' PCs. It is almost identical to the Web client. So people who use different PCs can switch smoothly between the two.

Advantages of using the Windows version (complete list)

Since the application runs in the system tray, you can stay logged in even after closing all Chatterbox windows.

There is an option to login automatically whenever your PC starts.

Any mouse movement or other activity (not just mouse movement over a Chatterbox window) will stop your presence status being set to Auto Away.

The system-tray notifications, that pop up from the Windows task bar when messages arrive, are not disabled by Windows XP Service Pack 2.

Less window chrome (no status or address bars).

There is no need to exclude Chatterbox from your browser's pop-up window blocker.

Easy to install

Compatible with all versions of Windows (98/Me/NT/2000/XP).

Minimal 70 KB footprint.

One click installation.
